Care
by Mia Charlotte Müller-Kneer
The 5th TEDxYouth@Berlin Cosmopolitan School event, held on April 20, 2023, focused on the theme of "Care". Following the International Baccalaureate (IB) Learner Profile, the event provided an inspiring and entertaining platform for talks.
Speakers were encouraged to critically explore well-being, responsibility, empathy, engagement, and fairness in relation to the theme of "Care". They discussed proactive gestures of caring that could enhance the lives of others while respecting their diverse experiences. The event aimed to provide insight into the world of others for the entire BCS student body, encompassing elementary and high school students, inspiring them to be better and more respectful individuals. Embracing the theme of Care fosters a stronger understanding of the value of sharing and collaboration.
